Kissimmee Driver Arrested On I-4 After Claiming He Never Had Florida License, Polk Deputies Say

LAKELAND, Fla. — A 57-year-old Kissimmee man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 4 after a routine license plate check led to charges involving a suspended driver’s license, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy patrolling I-4 near Lakeland ran the tag of a blue Kia Forte around 2:15 p.m. on July 29. The car’s registration showed it belonged to Robert William Grear, whose Florida driver’s license was suspended.
