Dogs found alone at Will Rogers State Beach spark search for possible missing woman

Two dogs found alone in the Will Rogers State Beach parking lot last month has sparked a search for their owner, who has seemingly been missing for more than three weeks.

The animals were discovered barking in the Pacific Palisades parking lot on July 9 at around 10 p.m. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit is investigating the case after a beach bag was found in a nearby restroom around the same time as the dogs. The bag contained a swimsuit, dog food and a sunshade.

A local resident who found the dogs, Paolo Moreno, said he shouted to find their owner, but no one responded. Moreno has since spent weeks sharing information on social media and talking to local business owners and homeless people in the area…
