Napa Town & Country Fair Returns With Neon Kid Zone, Niko Moon and Deep-Fried Mayhem

Napa’s annual Town & Country Fair is bringing back the carnival rides, deep-fried treats and livestock displays this week, with a colorful new attraction joining the usual summer mix. The four-day event also packs in national touring acts, local performers, karaoke, line dancing and enough live entertainment to make a single lap around the fairgrounds feel wildly unrealistic.

The Napa Town & Country Fair opens Thursday at the Napa Valley Expo and runs through Sunday, with evening hours on Thursday and Friday and earlier gates on the weekend. The fair’s official site lists gates opening at 3 PM on Thursday and Friday, then at 1 PM on Saturday and next Sunday.

Music fans get a full schedule of recognizable names and tribute acts. Napa Kids lists the Little Mermen Disney tribute and a Coldplay tribute on Thursday, Niko Moon on Friday, Lonestar on Saturday and a Sunday lineup featuring Noel Torres, Regulo Caro and Gerardo “El Jerry” Coronel.

A New Interactive Gallery Gives Kids The Spotlight

The most notable change this year is the Young Creators Gallery, which replaces the fair’s former junior arts and crafts department with a more immersive experience.
