WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Kansas Food Bank is giving away free meals for kids on Monday.
The program, called “Filling the Gap,” is a free meal option for families in the Wichita area that need help feeding children between the end of summer meal programs and the start of school. All children, ages 18 and under, can receive a free box of food through the program.
The only restriction is that kids must be present to pick up the food. Each child will receive ten meals, packed as five breakfasts and five lunches. No pre-registration is required…
