WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in D.C. were asking for the community’s help after a woman disappeared in Adams Morgan last week.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) issued a critical missing person alert for 30-year-old Madeline Avillion. The department shared her missing persons flyer across social media platforms on Aug. 3.

Police noted that Avillion was last seen in the 1800 Block of Belmont Road NW around 6 a.m. on July 31. She was wearing a black bodysuit with a black skirt and white cowboy boots.
