Boynton BBQ joint closed, but has found new options down the road

A Boynton Beach barbecue joint that shuttered recently after a decade in business announced at its closing day celebration it will live on after all, and close by.

Pig-Sty BBQ, which closed its Boynton Beach Boulevard restaurant on Sunday, aims to serve up pork ribs, chicken wings, sandwiches and other saucy, meaty courses once more starting Aug. 26 at the nearby Bungalow Bar & Grill on Northeast Fourth Street, one block west of U.S. 1.

Pig-Sty’s crew of four will cook in Bungalow’s kitchen and also run a food truck by the Florida East Coast railroad tracks behind the restaurant, Pig-Sty co-owner Tom Rhodemyre said…
