A 26-year-old convicted felon will spend more than nine years in federal prison after police found two firearms during a search of a Raleigh-area recording studio.
Kobe Alexander Scott pleaded guilty April 28 to possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Raleigh police began investigating Scott in October 2023 after receiving information that he was selling illegal drugs and had access to firearms. Authorities said Scott and other known drug dealers were using the recording studio for illegal activity.
