A Destrehan woman was arrested Sunday night after investigators say she hit a St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputy with her vehicle during an incident near Slidell.
Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Windward Passage in reference to an intoxicated woman attempting to leave a residence in a vehicle.
Authorities said that as the responding deputy attempted to remove 26-year-old Savanna Magee from the vehicle, Magee allegedly placed the vehicle in reverse, striking the deputy as she attempted to flee…
