FIRST ALERT: Morning storms will bring heavy downpours before lower humidity arrives

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Storms will develop ahead of a weak front Sunday morning, bringing heavy downpours to the area.

The main concern is isolated street flooding, particularly on the south shore where the Weather Prediction Center has issued a level 2 out of 4 flooding risk.

The north shore should stay mostly dry, while the south shore will see less than an inch of new rainfall in most spots. Some isolated areas could pick up 1 to 2 inches quickly…
