(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Remote Area Medical, a national nonprofit organization, offered a free pop-up clinic at Pikes Peak State College on Sunday, Aug. 2, providing dental, vision, and medical care to those who might otherwise go without these essential services.
According to the volunteer coordinators, people had been lining up for the service since midnight just to have their teeth examined, get new glasses, or receive a medical checkup, as the service was on a first-come, first-served basis.
