The Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) received a report on the evening of Saturday, Aug. 2, that Steven Jay Friedman, a 72-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and anxiety, had left his residence in the 29600 block of Jeans Road in Veneta. Family members last saw him at about 3:20 p.m. at the home.
Friedman left without any medication and did not take a phone or any personal belongings.
LCSO deputies and Lane County Search and Rescue volunteers responded to the area to search for Friedman but had not located him…
