A 19-year-old Wendell man is facing multiple charges after Wake County deputies say he attacked a woman with a machete and poured gasoline on her during an alleged domestic violence incident early Thursday morning.
According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 1020 block of Old Homeplace Circle near Wendell. When deputies arrived, the victim told them a man shattered the windows of the vehicle she was inside before pouring gasoline on her.
The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
