Two leaders of a Durham nonprofit already under investigation by ABC11’s I-Team Troubleshooter Diane Wilson were arrested and are facing multiple criminal charges in both Person and Durham counties.
Person County Sheriff Jason Wilborn said Courtney Jordan and Nick Gallardo, leaders of the Courtney Jordan Foundation (CJF America), were arrested Monday by Person County deputies at a home on Oaks Lane in Timberlake. Both men were wanted after authorities say they fled from Person County deputies during a high-speed chase on July 26.
Both men were taken to Duke Hospital with injuries after the crash, but when deputies returned to arrest them, both had slipped away from the hospital…
