NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man has died and another man was injured in separate crashes Monday morning at the same location on westbound Interstate 64 near Granby Street, Virginia State Police said.
The first crash, on westbound I-64 about a half-mile from Granby Street in Norfolk, involved three vehicles — a Honda motorcycle, a GMC Denali and a Nissan Rogue. The motorcycle operator, Alexander Schreifels, 40, was injured and died later at the hospital, State Police said. His next-of-kin has been notified, VSP said.
A secondary crash happened at the same location, as the driver of a Toyota 4Runner struck the back of a Ford Explorer, according to State Police, who said a man suffered a non life-threatening injury and was taken to the hospital…
