A WINNING poster in a state fair art contest has left locals outraged, saying that artwork made with artificial intelligence should not be taking home the grand prize.

The Ohio State Fair held a poster making contest asking amateurs and professionals to create a poster celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States and honoring Ohio’s history.

The first-place prize included $1,000, a ribbon and daily access to the fair, and now Ohioans are debating whether or not AI should be allowed in art contests.
