WHEELING, WV (WVNS) – A man from Ohio was sentenced to federal prison for allegedly selling methamphetamine in West Virginia.
According to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia (USAWVN), 56-year-old Christopher W. Radcliff of Byesville, Ohio was sentenced to federal prison for 151 months for crimes involving meth. Radcliff, who also goes by “Squeak,” was seen several times in New Martinsville, WV, while allegedly selling meth in 2024.
Shooting in Raleigh County remains under investigation
The press release stated that meth and $1,200.00 was seized by officers during a traffic stop in Pleasants County, WV. The amount seized, combined with the drug weight from sales, totaled approximately a pound and a half of meth per the press release. Radcliff has been convicted in the past for drug and theft crimes.
The announcement of the sentencing was made by U.S. Attorney Matthew L. Harvey. The investigation was conducted by the Marshall County Drug Task Force, which is a HIDTA-funded initiative, according to the press release…
