CLOVER VILLAGE, Ind. (WISH) — A 43-year-old Fairland man died early Saturday after his motorcycle ran a red light and hit a semi-trailer on an Interstate 74 overpass, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department said Monday.
The crash happened around 4:25 a.m. Saturday at the I-74 overpass for County Road 400 North.
Investigators say the man was riding a 2019 Harley-Davidson west on 400 North when he ran a red light and struck the trailer of a 2024 Freightliner. The semi driver, 26-year-old Arif Ozer of Primos, Pennsylvania, was exiting eastbound I-74 and turning east on a green light at the time of the crash…
