State Attorney Bill Gladson has announced the release of the Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office’s first-ever annual report, detailing case statistics, notable prosecutions, and community outreach programs across Central Florida.
Covering Marion, Lake, Citrus, Hernando, and Sumter counties, the report outlines the operations of an agency serving more than 1.4 million residents. During the 2024–2025 fiscal year, the office received 40,439 referred cases and sent 2,384 defendants to prison, placing the circuit first in the state of Florida for total prison admissions.
