The California Highway Patrol revealed that more than $500,000 worth of stolen goods was recovered when officers served a search warrant in the Inland Empire last week.
On July 28, the CHP’s Inland Division Cargo Theft Interdiction Program served the warrant at a discount retail store in Rialto, the agency said in a Facebook post Sunday.
Investigators said the business, which was not identified, was storing cargo connected to multiple thefts across Southern California.
“Cargo theft impacts businesses, consumers and our economy,” the CHP said. “The CHP remains committed to disrupting organized cargo theft, recovering stolen property and holding those responsible accountable.”…
