The Lake Township Historical Society will once again sponsor the Community Choir and Hymn Sing-Along at the Uniontown Lions Festival on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 6:30 p.m. under the big tent. This year, the choir will honor the 250th birthday of the United States by singing patriotic hymns that should be familiar to everyone.
The choir is looking for participants. The first practice will be Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Community Chapel, 1250 Edison St., Hartville. The choir welcomes anyone who is able to come and sing. Those interested are asked to attend or call Ruth Sturgill at 330-414-9464…
