A 10-year-old described by police as a runaway was located Sunday after a regional search brought in Gastonia Police Department bloodhound K9 Bo. The child was found roughly one mile from home, according to the police update.
Belmont Police Department said in a Monday update that regional agencies assisted with the search, while Gastonia K9 Bo helped locate the juvenile. The notice did not identify the child or disclose how long the child had been missing.
