Cincinnati’s grocery delivery pilot is helping Winton Hills residents access food more easily by reducing transportation and cost barriers.
The program now serves more than 370 people, with 96 percent of participants receiving benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), according to city officials.
The grocery delivery pilot provides eligible residents with monthly grocery support and free delivery services through a partnership between the City of Cincinnati and Kroger. Officials say the program is designed to improve food access for residents who face challenges reaching grocery stores.
