LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville woman accused of trying to kidnap 8-year-old girl appeared in court Tuesday morning.
Charra Lewis, 42, was arrested Saturday, Aug. 1 after police said she attempted to kidnap the girl and break into her home in the Portland neighborhood. She’s charged with attempted kidnapping of a minor and attempted second-degree burglary.
Prosecutors wanted Lewis’ bond to be raised from the original $50,000 to $100,000, citing safety concerns and a separate bench warrant issued the day before…
