ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—WFXR News highlights pets ready for adoption in area shelters through our weekly segment, Furry Friends!
On Tuesday, August 4, Kathy Bauman and Anita Finkle with the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) brought Daisey to the WFXR News Studio.
Daisey is a 7-year-old German shepherd mix. Daisey may come off as a bit timid at first, but she has a gentle and sweet personality. While she enjoys leisurely walks and a bit of playtime, Daisey is pretty chill and easygoing. She’s housebroken, walks well on a leash, and is a great car rider.

Overall, Daisey would do well in almost any household. She does well with most dogs, although she prefers those who match her energy level. Daisey would likely do well with children as long as they are respectful of her.
Daisey would be happy with any home as long as she gets love and attention. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance companion with a heart of gold, Daisey is the girl for you!
