Someone has repeatedly poured a suspicious substance around trees at a popular Lake Tahoe beach, authorities said.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said deputies discovered evidence of two recent poisonings at Burnt Cedar Beach in Incline Village, including substances found around the bases of multiple trees. Similar incidents have been documented at the property since 2022.
