STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Members of the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office and the NYPD lined Stuyvesant Place in St. George on Wednesday, July 29, to honor First Grade Detectives Nicholas Arhakos and Jeffrey Ford during a ceremonial walkout.
The detectives, both members of the RCDA’s Detective Squad, participated in more than 500 felony and misdemeanor arrests throughout their careers.
DA praises detectives’ years of service
Both began their law enforcement careers in Manhattan’s Ninth Precinct before joining the RCDA’s Detective Squad. District Attorney Michael McMahon reflected on their service to the office and the community.
