LIVE RADAR: Last day of onshore wind pattern, dreary Tuesday

Tuesday marks the end of the westerly wind pattern than has maintained morning rain chances for the last several days.

Ample atmospheric moisture will keep a mostly cloudy to overcast sky in the forecast Tuesday with a 60% chance of scattered rain and storms. Rain will continue to slowly drift eastward from the Gulf and across the area, but may linger throughout the afternoon, keeping things soggy.

Winds will begin to shift overnight, becoming southerly into Wednesday morning before becoming southeasterly throughout the day. This may generate some additional morning showers for coastal areas Wednesday morning, before more scattered storms develop by the afternoon and drift northwestward across the area…
