Lincoln woman identified as passenger killed in Gage County semi crash

BEATRICE, Neb. (KOLN) – Authorities have identified a Lincoln woman as the passenger killed in a crash involving a semi hauling anhydrous ammonia on July 30.

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office said 81-year-old Joyce White died in the collision.

According to the sheriff’s office, the semi owned by Double H Trucking out of Hutchinson, Kansas, was traveling northbound on W. Highway 136 near S.W. 45th Road. The driver of a Honda Pilot who was stopped at the stop sign on S.W. 45th Road pulled onto the highway and into the path of the semi, causing the crash, deputies wrote…
