AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Two anglers fishing for striped bass below the Lock and Dam on the Savannah River last Friday accidentally hooked an Atlantic sturgeon, a federally endangered species.
Micah Degier and his friend Jack Harrington were fishing on the bottom when Degier hooked the fish.
