Tom Mims of Richmond County was inducted into the National Association of Conservation Districts’ Southeast Region Hall of Fame during a luncheon held Aug. 10 in Cherokee, North Carolina.
The Southeast Region Conservation Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose work has made a significant impact on natural-resource conservation practices and partnerships at local, state, regional, or national levels.
Mims was honored for a lifetime of conservation leadership and hands-on stewardship across the Southeast.
