EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, a dog named Frog, is a playful young 32-pound pup who is more than ready to hop on into the life of a lucky fur-ever family!
Greenhill Humane Society staff tell us that, while initially shy, Frog warms up quickly after she has a chance to get to know her people. From that point on she’s known as a ‘Velcro’ dog as she sticks with you and wants all the snuggles! She also has a cute ‘trot walk’ and loves to chase her favorite stuffed toys in large spaces. Frog has lived with another dog before but it’s unknown how well she gets along with cats, so slow introductions are recommended with any feline friends. As well, Frog would like to meet any kids and canine siblings at the shelter prior to adoption. Frog is also eligible for Greenhill’s Foster-to-Adopt program, which allows interested adopters to foster her up to two weeks to see if she’s a good fit for their family.
