A Wake County pizzeria is closing this month after more than 20 years in business, offering fans and regulars a few more weeks of pies.
This week Georgina’s Restaurant & Pizzeria announced it would close its doors after 20 years in the busy Morrisville Market shopping center. The last day for Georgina’s is Monday, Aug. 31.
“After 20 incredible years of serving this amazing community, we have decided it is time for our family to close this wonderful chapter and move on,” owners The DeMattia family said in a Facebook post. “We are incredibly grateful for every customer, every meal shared, and every memory made over the last two decades. Your support, loyalty, and friendship have meant more to us than words can express. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives.”
