Suspects in Federal Hill bank heist arrested in New York

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Two of the suspects believed to be involved in the bank heist on Federal Hill three years ago have been arrested again.

Providence police told 12 News that Tracey Delgado and Stanley Palmer were arrested in New York on breaking and entering and conspiracy charges related to the heist.

Investigators said nearly $500,000 was stolen from the Santander Bank on Atwells Avenue back in June 2023. It was believed to be an inside job.

Surveillance footage showed two suspects entering the building in black clothes and masks. The bank’s security manager told detectives that one of the suspects looked like and had similar mannerisms to Delgado, who worked as the bank’s operations manager at the time…
