CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. — Catoosa County commissioners have approved millions of dollars in bonds tied to funding for the county school district. This follows a lawsuit filed by the district that claimed commissioners were delaying funding for major school construction projects by not passing the resolution tied to the bonds sooner.
Last year, voters approved an education sales tax (ESPLOST) which would free up tens of millions of dollars in bonds.
