PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Crews with the Hampton Roads Sanitation District responded to a pipeline failure in the Port Norfolk area of Portsmouth Wednesday evening.
According to officials, the incident occurred on Douglas Avenue near Rolfe Terrace. Officials say contractors are working to assess damage, make repairs, and begin cleanup efforts after a 30-inch force main failed.
