A man who was paid $33,100 last year to renovate two Lancaster County homes and abandoned them in the middle of demolition was accused of similar crimes in at least three other counties, court records show.
Lancaster Township police charged Merrill “Bud” Miller, 64, of Hummelstown, on Monday with home improvement fraud, theft and related offenses for the “disarray” police say he left two homes in the fall of 2025.
Online court records show this is at least the fourth time Miller was arrested in south-central Pennsylvania. He pleaded guilty to offenses in Lebanon and York counties and has a case pending in Dauphin County…
