WACO, Texas (FOX 44) – A Pflugerville woman was sentenced in a Waco federal court to 21 months in prison for submitting fraudulent Paycheck Protection Loan (PPP) applications.
This was announced by U.S. Attorney Justin R. Simmons for the Western District of Texas on Wednesday. According to court documents, 34-year-old Aisha Jackson, was doing business as Logo Boosters on March 10, 2021. She submitted a PPP application to a loan processor.
According to the Department of Justice (DoJ), the application contained false statements and documentation including a fabricated voided check stub.
