AUSTIN (KXAN) — A vehicle on fire on southbound MoPac has caused delays on the highway Wednesday morning.
According to the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, the fire was near Spicewood Springs Road. The mobility authority first reported the fire at 8:52 a.m.
The left shoulder and lane of the southbound express lane were blocked as the Austin Fire Department responded to the incident. The roadway has since reopened.
AFD said fire crews cleared the scene, and a commander called the incident a “typical car fire.”…
