BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — Stellantis plans to resume vehicle production at its Belvidere assembly plant next year. However, local union leadership reports they have not received official updates regarding the transition.
Matt Franzen addressed the situation on a Facebook post. Franzen stated that management intends to visit the facility to evaluate what work has been completed and what tasks remain for the reopening.
