Renowned culinary expert Chef Jet Tila is collaborating with Live! Casino and Hotel to bring a new era of flavor to Luk Fu restaurant, adding several of his dishes to the menu.
Chef Tila has been a competitor or judge in Food Network shows like “Chopped,” “Cutthroat Kitchen,” “Beat Bobby Flay,” “Iron Chef America,” “Tournament of Champions,” and “Chef Grudge Match.”
The chef came to Bossier City in July for the launch of his new menu items, which included personal stories and menu tastings. There are two more locations of Luk Fu in Live! Casinos in the nation, in Hanover, Md., and Philadelphia, Pa.
He told the group that his favorite dish that he added to the menu is the Pad Thai. “This is a dish that my family started in America over 60 years ago.”
Chef Tila told The Shreveport-Bossier Advocate that he is a third-generation cook raised in Los Angeles and was trained in both French and Japanese culinary schools. He said that his family started the first Thai restaurants and markets in Los Angeles…
