(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is preparing to celebrate the grand opening of its new Customer Service center at the Downtown Terminal on Thursday, Aug. 6, expanding support for riders and improving access to transit information, passes, and assistance.
The public is invited to the celebration, which will run from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m., and will include ticket giveaways and prize drawings, along with brief remarks from Mayor Yemi Mobolade. Staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions and gather feedback from MMT riders.
“Moving Customer Service to the Downtown Terminal places it back in the heart of the city and at the main transit hub, where riders can more easily access tickets and information,” Transit Division Manager Lan Rao said. “This move supports our growing ridership and strengthens our commitment to providing convenient, reliable service.”…
