Firefighters from Fuller Hose Company #1 in North East assisted with a working structure fire in Wattsburg on August 5.
Just after 11 a.m., the department was dispatched as part of a second-alarm assignment to the 14000 block of Creek Road. Engine 202 responded with a crew of six firefighters.
Upon arrival, North East firefighters joined first-alarm crews from the Wattsburg Fire Department, Greenfield Volunteer Fire Department, and Kuhl Hose Company. Firefighters worked together on fire suppression efforts and overhaul operations to ensure the blaze was fully extinguished…
