A new generation of ERIEsistible Clowns is stepping up to help save the organization’s longtime home, organizing a community rummage sale later this month to raise money for a building facing thousands of dollars in repairs and back taxes.
The group is working to raise about $10,000 to address financial challenges at its clown hall at 512 Kelso Drive in Millcreek, which members say needs improvements to utilities in addition to covering overdue property taxes.
To support the effort, the ERIEsistible Clowns will host a rummage sale Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Community members are invited to rent a table for $20 and sell a variety of items, including crafts, baked goods, treats and other merchandise. Organizers say all vendors and shoppers are welcome…
