Drunk Driver Embarrassingly Collides With Police Cruiser in Front of Station

Well, we suppose that’s one way to turn yourself in. Out of all the places to cause an accident, a drunk driver of a tractor trailer struck a police cruiser that was parked in the lot of a police station in Massachusetts. The man actually attempted to flee from the scene, but as you might expect, he didn’t get very far.

Tractor trailer driver crashed in front of police barracks

On August 3, 50-year-old Timothy Dorsey from Pensacola, Florida, drunkenly drove a white tractor trailer straight into a police cruiser in front of Strubridge Barracks, according to a post by the Massachusetts State Police on its official Facebook page.

Open 24 hours, the station oversees a patrol area that covers twelve towns in the state along the Connecticut border and is situated on Route 20 right next to Route 84.

Fortunately, no trooper was in the vehicle at the time of the accident, though the impact was so strong that the cruiser was pushed into the curb and straight into a light pole. Pictures accompanying the social media post show the front left side of the gray and blue cruiser heavily smashed, ironically resting next to a “DO NOT ENTER” sign…
