Tim Hortons sets plans for another Central Texas cafe this year

A fast-growing Canadian coffee chain is expanding its Central Texas presence once again with another location in the works. Tim Hortons has set plans for a new $400,000 outpost in a booming north Austin suburb.

A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing reveals that Tim Hortons is preparing to build a coffee shop at 15513 Ronald Reagan Blvd., Suite 110 in Leander, a city about 27 miles north of Austin. This new cafe comes as the company continues to grow its Texas footprint with several Tim Hortons slated for the Austin-area and San Antonio.

Construction on the Leander Tim Hortons is expected to begin September 1 and is projected to wrap by December 31. The scope of work for the 2,000-square-foot project includes, “interior tenant improvements for a Tim Hortons coffee shop.”All TDLR filings are subject to change at any time…
