LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — A fire at the Himbola Manor apartments in Lafayette injured three people earlier this week, including two children and a mother who suffered multiple burns while saving her 1-year-old son.
Armonie Zenon, who had lived at the complex for only two months, sustained first and second-degree burns and a fractured toe while escaping the building. Zenon and her family lost nearly everything they owned to fire and water damage during the incident.
