PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 29-year-old Salem woman died from her injuries Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Monday, police said.
Alexis McDonald was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after she and a 45-year-old man were struck by a car while standing on the sidewalk around 9:30 p.m. on 17th Street NE, Salem police said — the man suffered minor injuries and stayed at the scene.
“The vehicle reportedly did not stop and continued driving away from the scene. Officers searched the area and located the vehicle and driver a few blocks from the scene,” Salem police said…
