BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A North Tonawanda man is facing a slew of charges in connection with a stolen car and an alleged car chase on Wednesday night, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said.
Roberto Leon, 19, was arrested on Aug. 5 as part of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office “Operation Key Fob.”
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office Air 1 helicopter found a vehicle on Interstate 190 that was reported to be stolen from Clarence earlier Wednesday, and officials said the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed following an attempt at a traffic stop.
