The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that Interstate 290 (Youngmann Memorial Highway) westbound in the Town of Tonawanda, between the Interstate 990 off-ramp to I-290 and the I-290 on-ramp from Niagara Falls Boulevard (Route 62) will be reduced from three lanes to one from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, to facilitate bridge repairs. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes when possible.
