CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Albemarle County Police Chief Col. Sean Reeves, who has been on medical leave since May 8, has announced his retirement effective Oct. 1, ACPD announced Thursday.
Reeves will conclude a career in public service that has spanned over 30 years, including 25 years with ACPD and four as Chief of Police.
Reeves will remain on approved medical leave until his retirement date. Deputy Chief Camille Stewart will continue as acting chief until Aug. 14, when Deputy Chief of Operations Randy Jamerson will assume the role…
